Bombay Velvet is the upcoming movie of Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, which is the Hindi Thriller Drama movie also called as Hindi Neo-Noir drama film.Ranbir Kapoor has been seen in the Johnny Balraj who is the boxer & Anushka Sharma is appearing in role of A Jazz Singer aka Rosie. The Bombay Velvet Story is based on the Gyan Prakash’s book Mumbai Fables, in which Bombay city set in 1960s. The whole story is based on the love life of a Boxer, A Jazz Singer, Rosie. First time Producer come Director Karan Johar playing the very important role in the movie with Ranbir Kapoor, he is appearing in the lead role whereas Kay Kay Menon, Manish Choudhary, Raveena Tandon and Siddharth Basu are seen in the supporting role. The Bombay Velvet movie tells the journey of big city Bombay and its tells the how it becomes a metropolis. This is the first movie from the trilogy which shows the Mumbai city before the turn into a Metropolis.
Bombay Velvet movie is set to release on 15th May 2015 across globe. The movie will go to be released in two versions, one for the Indian audience and other for an international audience. Bombay Velvet Music is composed by Amit Trivedi and lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya and he is successful to give the 1960s jazz era touch. The soundtrack of movie is not yet release. This is the most awaited movie of director Anurag Kashyap, which was planned to release in late 2014 but the movie has been pushed to 15th May 2015 due to pending VFX.
